The 2018-2019 Mishawaka High School (MHS) school year will undergo a few changes. One big change is the implementation of grade deans. There will be a dean for each individual grade.
Social studies teacher Sean Steinkellner and english teacher Jessica Mann have already been named to fill these roles.
“The details are still being ironed out, we will have a dean for each grade level that follows students as they progress through their high school career; and the grade levels for each dean has not been decided,” said Steinkellner
“The change will go into effect for the next school year. Deans will be hard at work over the summer to get ready for their roles and responsibilities. All teachers and administrators at MHS hope these changes positively affect students, if they didn’t the they wouldn’t be made otherwise,” said Mann.
