Fall Sports: Looking Back and Looking Ahead

As fall is drawing to a close and winter begins to knock, the sports going on since the start of the school year are ending as well. Here’s a look back at what happened (and still is happening):

The Mishawaka Cavemen Varsity football team is well on their way to sectionals with a record of 7-2. The two losses were to Cathedral in early September and Penn last Friday night. Their next opponent is Elkhart Memorial on Friday, October 21 at Elkhart Memorial at 7:00 PM.

Volleyball finished the regular season with a record of 12-19, heading to a sectional on Thursday, October 20 against Adams at Plymouth.

Cross Country is in their final stretches, going to semi-state at IPFW in Fort Wayne on Saturday.

Boys’ Tennis has completely wrapped up for the year with a record of 2-2-1. Notable players included Kyle Bolinger and the Alltold’s own Editor-in-Chief Kyler Garrett.

Girls’ Golf, led by Deborah Janowski, has finished as well, ending with a record of 1-9.

Boys’ Soccer has capped out the season with a record of 6-9-1, while Girls’ Soccer has finished with 7 wins, 10 losses, and 2 ties.
