Michiana Takes on LOGAN Nose-On

Michiana’s very own “March Madness” has officially begun! What once was an unusual fundraiser, selling green noses, has turned into a tradition, and the month of March represents the start of the LOGAN Nose-on. Beginning in 1988, to raise money and awareness to support their mission of serving those with mental and developmental disabilities, turned into a local tradition. In recent years, green dots, which symbolize the “nose”, have appeared on yard signs throughout Michiana. However, LOGAN offers more than just a silly, green nose; the Nose—On now offers wristbands, pencils, buttons, magnets, post—it notes, lapel pins, and Chocolate Noses and mint chocolate malt balls from the South Bend Chocolate Factory. LOGAN also hosts the Nose—On Luncheon, the largest community event of its kind, to raise additional funds and awareness. Whether wearing a green nose, or attending the Nose—On Luncheon, there are many ways to support LOGAN Nose—On! Discover all the amazing ways to support LOGAN and the community by “liking” their Facebook page or visiting their website.
