This morning, a car crash took place in front of Mishawaka High School (MHS).
At about 6:30 a.m., a driver heading east lost control of his car and went through the front lawn of MHS. The driver then hit a light pole, before finally crashing into a house across the street in the 1200 block of Lincolnway East. The owners of the house were home at the time of the crash. The house suffered damage, but the driver was the only person injured.
The driver was administered CPR by an off-duty sheriff’s reserve. Police have not yet confirmed why the collision occurred. The driver is in serious condition at Memorial Hospital.
