Spring Break Blues

Not everyone will be enjoying spring break this year on a beach in Florida. In fact, most of us will be staying right here in Mishawaka. As bad as that may sound, our area has many exciting activities most of us have never thought about participating in. Take time during your spring break this year to enjoy everything the Michiana area has to offer! If your boredom gets the best of you, here’s some ideas on how to spice up your spring! Have a great, and safe, spring break from everyone at the MHS Alltold.

  1. Take a picture with the “I Love SB” statue in Downtown South Bend.

  2. Take a trip to the chalkboard wall and write what you “love” or “believe”.

  3. Visit HealthWorks! Kid’s Museum (you’re never too old!).

  4. Participate in an art class at MAKE South Bend.

  5. Paint pottery at Pigeon and Hen Pottery.

  6. Explore local bookstores (Idle Hours in Downtown South Bend).

  7. Take the South Shore to Chicago for a day trip.

  8. Buy donuts from West End Bakery in Mishawaka.

  9. Visit the River Lights at Howard Park.

  10. Run, walk, or even bike the Mishawaka Riverwalk.
